Kwajo checks out the lost wax method of bronze casting. Ashantis were big gold traders, and used this method to make weights for measuring their gold. Now it’s used to create a variety of ornaments and items such as serviette rings and hooks, all decorated with adinkra symbols, as well as replica gold weights.
